Wes Fischer

Founder and Managing Partner

With over three decades of experience in the health insurance industry, Wes Fischer is one of Florida’s leading experts in the industry. As Founder and Managing Partner of Health Insurance Store, Wes Fischer oversees the daily operations of the company.

Prior to founding Health Insurance Store, Wes worked for Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Whinney as an auditor and consultant for health care providers. He was Florida Hospital Association’s VP of Shared Services specializing in self-funded and employee benefit plans for health care providers. Wes founded Health Insurance Store in 1992 and in 2020 the agency partnered with the Integrity Marketing Group. Wes is a passionate visionary in helping agents and agencies in implementing innovative approaches in serving their clients.


Wes graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from Florida International University and earned an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Wes lives in St. Cloud, Florida with his wife, Vicki. His daughter, Cassandra Fischer, oversees all marketing efforts of the agency.

Carla Aragon

HR/Customer Experience Manager

Carla joined The Health Insurance Store Team in 2012. She has twenty years of experience in managing personnel, payroll, accounting, and taxes. Carla has served in the roles of Enrollment Department Supervisor, Front Office Manager, Accounting and Payroll Manager and most recently serving in the position Human Resources and Customer Experience Manager. She oversees the company's enrollment department to ensure agents have their applications process in a prompt manner. Carla works closely with our Senior Management Team to design and implement plans and policies that will benefit all employees and enhance our organizational performance and productivity.

Cassandra Fischer 

VP Marketing & Business Development

Cassandra joined the agency full-time in 2014 and has fifteen years of experience in business, management, sales, and marketing. Cassandra oversees all aspects of marketing for each brand of the company. Her willingness to thrive in this industry drives her to share her knowledge and provide agents with the powerful tools they need to succeed. Cassandra specializes in strategic marketing and business development in the Medicare and Individual market. She helps independent agents develop marketing strategies and build their personal brand in the community to be successful in all markets.

Cassandra Fischer became a licensed agent in 2008. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Rollins College in Winter Park.

Dee Cintron 

Compliance Officer

Dee joined Health Insurance Store customer service in 2002. She became a certified agent in 2007 and was appointed as the Operations Manager. Her background is in Medicare Supplemental and Medicare Advantage plans. Dee has had many roles in the organization throughout the years which allow her to have a greater understanding of the inter-workings of the agency. Her experience is in Sales, Commissions, Certifications, Compliance, Security, Contracting, Enrollment, and Training. She is a key asset to the company and currently oversees compliance for the agency. 

Cassie Wilson

Senior Agency Manager

Cassie joined the company in 2014 bringing over ten years of training and sales experience. She created a dynamic training program specifically designed with agents in mind. In 2016, Cassie was appointed as a school official with the state of Florida for our insurance school at the company. Her passion to train and educate naturally led to a more active position in the sales management side of the business where she is now overseeing our licensing, certifications, recruiting, and sales department. She specializes in data analysis to ensure we have the most up to date data from the industry to make strategic moves in the market to better serve the company and our agents. 

Jeannette Tavarez

Senior Executive Administrator

Jeannette joined the company in 2014 and brought twelve years of business management experience to the agency. Jeannette has in-depth knowledge of the company and currently oversees finance, commissions, accounting, CRM, enrollment platforms. She works closely with our general agency brokers to develop their agency and ensure their success. Jeannette has thrived with the agency and Health Insurance Store is thrilled to have her as a part of the Senior Management Team.
