Founder and President
With nearly three decades of experience in the health insurance industry, Wes Fischer is one of Florida’s leading experts in the industry. As president and owner of Fischer Services, Wes Fischer oversees the daily operations of the firm, as well as more than 500 agents throughout Central Florida. The firm specializes in individual coverage, primarily in the Medicare and ACA Exchange markets. Fischer Services was one of the first agencies to work in the ACA exchange market, helping nearly 30,000 clients receive new coverage.
Wes Fischer graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from Florida International University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduation, Fischer worked for Price Waterhouse, as well as Ernst & Whinney performing audit and consulting services for health care providers. After that, Fischer was the Florida Hospital Association’s Vice President of Shared Services and the President of Tanguay & Fischer Associates, Inc. which specialized in self-funded and employee benefit plans for health care providers.
In 1992, Fischer founded The Health Insurance Store, Inc. which was later re-branded Fischer Services. Through Fischer Services, he has navigated tens of thousands of clients and agents through numerous health care reform efforts. He passionate speaks about health care reform and its impact on individuals and employer groups.
Fischer lives in St. Cloud, Florida with his wife, Vicki. His daughter, Cassandra Fischer, oversees all marketing efforts of the agency.
VP Marketing & Business Development
Cassandra Fischer became a licensed agent in 2008. She graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. With her broad experience in Sales and Marketing, she oversees all aspects of Marketing for the company. Her willingness to thrive in this industry drives her to share her knowledge and provide agents with the powerful tools they need to succeed. Cassandra specializes in strategic marketing and business development in the Medicare and Individual market. She works alongside agents to help them develop marketing strategies and foster partnerships to be successful in all markets.
Dee joined Fischer Services' customer service in 2002. She became a certified agent in 2007 and was appointed Fischer Services' Operations Manager. Her background is in Medicare Supplemental and Medicare Advantage plans. Dee has had many roles in the organization throughout the years which allow her to have a greater understanding of the inter-workings of the agency. Her experience is in Sales, Commissions, Certifications, Compliance, Security, Contracting, Enrollment, and Training. She is a key asset to the company and continues to oversee operations at the Agent Resource Center.
Senior Agency Manager
Cassie joined the company in 2014 and became a licensed agent shortly after. She brings to our agency more than 10 years of experience working for multiple corporations in various training roles. As our Senior Agency Manager, Cassie is responsible for creating and conducting our agent trainings as well as offering agent sales support. She also oversees the certifications department and the referral programs. In 2016, Cassie formed Fischer Services' insurance school and is responsible for developing its CE classes.
Senior Executive Administrator
Jeannette joined the company in 2014. She brings over 10 years of management experience to the agency. Jeannette has in-depth knowledge and experience in Accounting, which makes her an ideal fit to oversee our Accounting and Commission departments. Jeannette has thrived with the agency and Fischer Services is thrilled to have her as a part of the Senior Management Team.
